Alaska is part of the USA but why?? It's connected to Canada that's weird!! It does not even touch the USA!? well............... let's find out. 

Russia owned Alaska first and then sold Alaska to us. We also got Hawaii too. There are 130 volcanoes in Alaska. It's famous for its salmon, moose, caribou, bears, whales, bison, puffins, jellyfish, glaciers,, and fjords. There are 3,174 mountains in Alaska. 17 National parks are in Alaska. There are 12,000 rivers in Alaska. The types of bears in Alaska are the Polar bear, black bear, and brown bear. Mount Foraker is the biggest mountain in Alaska it's 17,402'. The 2 big mountain ranges are the Brooks Range and Aleutian Range. 

Alaska is amazing to do work on, would you want to visit there sometime.
