The Trail Of Tears is a very sad story.  People died in this non-fiction story. They also traveled all over the place.

Facts About The Trail Of Tears      

More than 15,000 Cherokee people were removed from their homeland. The white people kicked them out and forced them to go to the other side of the Mississippi. It took almost three months to travel to the place where they were going. The people were going to Utah. These are the people that traveled on The Trail Of Tears; The Cherokee, Creek, Chickasaw, Choctaw, and Seminole. It's called The Trail Of Tears because they suffered from hunger, sickness, and diseases. The very sad trail is 5,043 miles long. 16,000 people were on this trail. 3,000 people died on the sad Trail of Tears. The people died from a lot of diseases. These people traveled from 1831-1877. They went through nine states they were;

How Many States They Went To

Alabama, Arkansas, Georgia, Illinois, Kentucky, Missouri, North Carolina, Oklahoma, and Tennessee.

They sure suffered a lot and I would say visit The Trail Of Tear's hint: one by The Mississippi River warning its toxic!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
