Lake Waco
We all would like a vacation to a
lake. Swimming, kayaking, and boating are some fun activities to enjoy, but is
it all the same for lake Waco Texas.
Well it wouldn’t kill you but
there is still a threat. Every 15 to 20 years a group of alligators travel through
the middle of Texas. These alligators have been known to swim in lake Waco. That
isn’t the only threat. On September 1, 2018 an environmental group tested the
water and found multiple types of bacteria. The water is still safe but they encouraged
not to swim in the lake.
The lake isn’t all bad, it is a
very popular spot for fishing and it helps boats deliver supplies to different
towns. Even though its not perfectly safe it adds a perfect puzzle piece to Waco
and adds a unique touch to the small town that making it worth visiting Texas.
