                     Gettysburg

The year is 1863, the Confederate army is ready for the great Civil War to come to an end. They are preparing for a major blow towards the union army, a battle that will decide victory or lost. This attack will be known for ever as the battle of Gettysburg.

Major Lee was preparing his army of 92,000 Confederate troops for attack. The attack will be on the Union army holding the city of Gettysburg. Lee, knowing that holding Gettysburg meant controlling the roads that could be used for the Calvary and reinforcements, devised a plan to finish off the Union army. Under the control of General George G. Meade, the Union had scouted the confederates and was prepping for war. He had positioned his army in a horse shoe pattern stretching from Little Round Top to Barlow’s knoll. Knowing they had to maintain control over Gettysburg he could only pray reinforcements would arrive on time. Being out numbered 2 to 1 he needed a miracle. Suddenly Both sides clashed, the battle shook the earth it seemed. The Union had too many loses, they had to retreat. The horse shoe pattern closed in and the union fell back. Finally, an army of reinforcements led by George Thomas arrived to support the union.  Now they stood a fighting chance!
